i vote for evening service to be restored to what it was, longer trains at midnight, and no new parking fees in the East Bay.

How can BART have an unexpected 5 million dollar surplus, when just last week, BART had a 10 million dollar deficit to address. Something is so not right (AS USUAL).

I was amazed how clean the stairs were last night when I was walking down the stairs after disembarking the last train of the night. Some guy with his leg in a cast urinated all over them about a week ago because he couldn't make it down the stairs to the bathroom. Pretty disgusting. He did it in front of everybody.

You guys play great R&B while you work too. I always find it uplifting when I get off the train and hear your music.

We need this train; the last train is always fucking late. ERGH! This is a HUGE inconvenience.

Boy, I couldn't tell who was fighting with whom. I got a great show of exactly what Station Agents put up with. This A-A woman today took on a group of at least 10 A-A dudes all bigger than her. I don't know who was fighting with whom but I was scared to go near the faregates. Despite the way they verbally abused and harrassed her, she won and got rid of them.

When I thought the coast was clear of them, I proceded to enter the gates wherein I was hit by a woman on a bicycle riding through the station; at least she said "sorry honey."

Tonight they spilled Red Bull all over the floor. Well, you know what, that Red Bull trickles down the gray floor and gets soaked up by the passenger sitting in front of the spiller's pants. Real nice.

Tonight three people were wrestling on the train; they stuck their gum all over the bare floors and the seats; real nice.

Not fair to have other passenger's garments damaged by drunks on the train.

ONE MORE TIME, WHY DOESN"T BART PD EVER RIDE THE TRAINS? WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DRUNKS ON THE TRAIN TONIGHT? I don't think much was going on; no Giants game as far as I could see.

Whenever it's time to vote in BART management, I never really know whom I'm voting for other than from the literature I read that comes in the mail. I'm hoping for the next election, the BART employees will let us regular voters know whom to vote for in BART Management. I have sadly realized that all the literature I received in the mail is just a lie. BART's Board of Directors is pathetic. At least make some good come out of this upcoming strike and solve the strike problem once and for all by overhauling BART's top tier management system and getting rid of them.

You were really on top of it. You guys fix the trains, put up with crying drunks, homeless, gangbangers, thugs, etc. You guys deserve a raise not cuts in your benefits and ALREADY inadequate retirement plan in today's dollars. I'd like to know what the BART Board and other BART management are giving up?

They basically look like the old BART cars with white walls (that will be gross in two days) and very few seats. I want a seat for an hour plus commute two ways. I can't believe BART would even think of doing this to the passengers. We are getting screwed. I can't believe BART is going to buy 700 cars at one time instead of buying like 30, putting one 10-car train on each line, and testing the trains to identify defects, weaknesses, etc., and then buy more cars. I swear the BART website under their projects sounds like such a bunch of b.s.

Higher train fares and larger contributions from BART workers toward health and pension benefits are needed to bail BART out of a financial hole, BART managers and its board president said today.

Board president Thomas Blalock rejected one BART workers union's proposal to roll over the employee contract for one year.

BART is supposed to open at 4:00 a.m., not 4:30, am I correct? Stupid fat ass station agent who moves slower than molasses and couldn't even open up the station to let the patrons in. I missed the 4:24 after being stuck at work since 3:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, was exhausted and just wanted to get home, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, stupid lazy late station agent can't even do her job.

I really, REALLY, really, REALLY, appreciated having a halfway normal late-night commute home and I could even sit down.

TONIGHT WAS GAWD AWFUL. Nothing like that mowed over feeling . You can't move and people just continue to push you and walk through you and you have no control over your place on the floor. No air to breath. Unbelievably packed, hot five-car train which was supposed to have left Montgomery at 11:09. Worthless T.O. as far as asking the crowd to move back but I guess there was nowhere to move. But she was absolutely no help to this bad situation. BART'S Management needs to go.

I would sure love to hear BPD's side.

Our T.O. managed to fix the train too and Central still took it out of service; that sucked in the rain. It seems like every train has a problem any more. If the cars are so worn out that they can't run without issue, why is BART building more stations and not replacing the train cars?
