BART cops in hot pursuit
Yesterday I saw these two BART cops talking to some guy at the Embarcadero station. At first I didn't think they were cops because they were wearing black and grey uniforms so I got a little closer to see their patch. It said "Tactical Squad" or something like that. These guys were some of the biggest BART cops I have ever seen. Not those mini cops you normally see walking around.
As I started for the escalator, I heard a ruckus and saw the bad guy running away from the cops. I thought to myself "These guys will never catch him!" so I walked down the station to catch a peek. Well, low and behold these "super sized cops" ran that sucker down and tackled him at the other end of the station. Dude got a big cut on his eye when his head hit the floor.
Way to go BART cops! He must have been doing something bad or wanted for some out of state crime. All I can say is "Don't mess with those tactical guys!"

theres this one bart tactical guy who has to be at least 300 lbs and like 6 ft 5. at LEAST. on new years the bart tactical squad was out in downtown sf and they had the biggest hitting sticks i'd ever seen. prolly about 4 feet long. all men, all over 6ft, all over 250 lbs. except this one woman, who had to be under 5ft 5, under 120 lbs. and she was the one with the stripes on her uniform.
i wouldnt fuck with the b.p.d. tactical guys if i were you.

Is there any difference between a regular BART PD officer and someone in the "Tactical Squad", other than maybe physical fitness?

yeah! go BPD! Almost called them last night at Montgomery. There's this old man who keeps walking around the platform spitting, blowing his snot, and making the grossest of noises. Over and over again he does it. Put up with him last week every night and wanted to kill him last week but last night, I had had it and just told him was F'n disgusting in front of every single person on the entire Montgomery platform and gave him a look to kill and was ready to deck him if I had to. He went to the other end of the platform and continued his gross business down there. gross old man. yeah, hold your nose and blow your snot, jerk. Why on earth these peole a train platform is their bathroom, I'll never know.

BART Police will be more than happy to cite this guy, provided you stick around and wait (at Embarcadero, shouldn't be long at all before the police can be there).
It takes someone to speak up and let BPD know - Officers can't be everywhere at once so they do need your help in reporting sickos like this.
