Civic Center escalators on Grove down for more than a month

The escalators that exit to Grove Street at the Civic Center have been down for more than a month now. The down escalator was barricaded for about three weeks. That down side is running again, but now the up side is dead. The other day, the escalator from the platform was also down.
I really don't understand why it's taking so long to repair this particular set of escalators.
Maybe they give it more attention when someone has a heart attack from climbing the step of two dead escalators.

If you're gonna have a heart

If you're gonna have a heart attach from climbing a set of stairs than you need to take your ass on the elevator.

This isn't about people who

This isn't about people who are out of shape, dumbass. I concur that there are plenty of people who should use the stairs more often. But there are people who ride BART that have a host of health problems, including cardiac and respiratory conditions that make walking a few hundred feet a real challenge. Yes, they could take the elevators, if they know in advance that the escalator is down. But, but by the time they walk the corridor to the escalator and then back to the elevator, they could be completely exhausted.

Well, it seems that they are

Well, it seems that they are working today. Is someone from BART actually reading these posts and taking action?

The up escalator to Grove

The up escalator to Grove was down again this morning. If these problems persisted this long in a business, they would be losing money by now. It would be totally unacceptable in any local, state, or federal government building. Why is BART the only public entity exempt from getting problems fixed quickly and efficiently?
