Smoking car?

Why BART? Why is it at the end of the commute something happens? Today it was the smell of burning BART breaks. It was slightly ridiculous that it took 15 more minutes to pull into the station only to be greeted by the smell of something burning. The economy going down in flames or brakes on that BART train?
