BART officer with dog at night?
I take a class in SF and have to ride home after 10. It's not really a big deal considering there are plenty of people on the train and it's really not that late. I've noticed in SF and in Oakland there will often be a police officer walking with a dog down the train. I can't tell if there's anything they're looking for, but since I have class once a week I was wondering if this is now standard procedure at night. (Does BART think drug deals go down on their trains in the evening?) :P

You don't think Drug deals go
You don't think Drug deals go down on the train? or Prostitution? or Theft?, Assault? Panhandling? Homeless encampments? Graffiti? Food gnashing? smoking? Drinking from that brown paper bag? Animal sacrifices?
Catholic chants to Insane rants BART is better than a three ring circus, the problem is we never know where a show will suddenly break out.
Boy you got that right; and
Boy you got that right; and some idiots think a BART train could run by itself without a T.O.! Thanks to humans, that will never happen!
I love the K9's! There is one BPD who really treats his K9 well. I see him exercising his dog every once in a while and I heard him talking "dog paws" with another dog owner in the NC parking lot one day. Apparently, all that BPD work is tough on a K9's paws.
You should thank the officer
You should thank the officer for actively patrolling the trains at night. The K9 isn't a drug sniffing dog (AFAIK) - it might be bomb sniffing or simply a working police K9. Then, e-mail the appropriate people at bart.gov and give the officer/K9 an "atta-boy." They sure need some positive support.
