So...are those escalators being fixed soon?
I get off at Montgomery and actually choose a particular exit because it's much closer to work. At least one of the escalators has been out of service for the past several days with both of them out today, forcing everyone to go down the stairs. I'm just glad it was the end of the day and no one was trying to go UP the stairs!
And at the bottom of one of the broken escalators was a BART police officer standing there, I assume, to prevent people from going up the escalator. What was he doing while standing there? He was rather busy with whatever was going on with his smartphone.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

The one at civic center UN plaza has been really bad recently too. I'd say it works about half the time...
