Have another for the road baby

Well our former general manager, has managed to embarrass the District again even though she has been gone now for several months. Boozing it up and deciding to get behind the wheel of an automobile and getting arrested for driving under the influence. Way to go DD. One would think with a cool million in her pocket that a cab or a hotel room or even a cup of coffee in a diner would have been affordable. Would loved to have heard that conversation with the arresting officer on the way to the tank. Looking forward to the posting of that MUG shot. The DUI will take about $10K out of that million, plus should put her on ice for another public job for a long long time. Enjoy the Jack and Camels..........

A CHP friend says Napa Valley

A CHP friend says Napa Valley is a crowded duck pond for DUI's in the summer. After 5PM when the first wave of tourists and visitors hit the road after a day of winery tours, you can be assured that a significant number are pinned at .08BAC or higher. As for DD, she should have had a DD (designated driver). This will cost her more than $10k with the public job offers disappearing and her consulting efforts limited because of a license suspension. Preventable.

This is the first piece of good news I've seen on this site in a while.

glad DD won't be able to get

glad DD won't be able to get another public job. we ride around in these dirty, rickety old cars, with service cut-backs and short trains, and DD gets that fat separation package. makes absolutely no sense to me.

Sadly, a drunk driving on

Sadly, a drunk driving on your record doesn't automatically keep you out of public service, only if you drive or operate other vehicles as a primary part of your job.

Not having a driver's license

Not having a driver's license never stopped former BART board member Margaret Pryor...nor did it prevent her from using her mother's handicap placard. (Bad Boys, Bad Boys...whatcha gonna doooo?)

Dugger DUI: Dorothy Dugger, who walked away with a nearly $1 million severance package when she was forced out as BART's general manager earlier this year, was arrested Thursday night up in Napa on suspicion of drunken driving.

A Napa County sheriff's deputy spotted Dugger's 1998 Chrysler Cirrus weaving near Silverado Trail and Monticello Road shortly after 9 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

After she failed a field sobriety test, Dugger was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, said CHP spokeswoman Officer A.M. Paulson.

Reached Friday at her Oakland home, Dugger said she had "been under an incredibly stressful, strained situation" for the past month, and called her arrest "a most unfortunate occurrence."

"I had not intended to be driving last night," Dugger said. "My husband and I have been caring for his 90-year-old mother, who became gravely ill weeks ago, and there have been some tensions in the household with caregivers."

ROTFLMAO!!!

So she decided to get drunk while caring for her husband's 90 year old mother???

Sounds like they need to investigate this as a potential case of ELDER ABUSE!!!

Dear Ms. Dugger: Being

Dear Ms. Dugger: Being arrested for a DUI is one thing. Bringing up your husband's gravely ill mother as the reason for being intoxicated while driving, well, that is a poor show. Take some direct responsibility for your actions without dredging up a sympathic excuse. Instead, simply say to SFGate: "No comment" or have your PR person do the talking. Your mother-in-law and the public will appreciate it.

No kidding. Dredging up the

No kidding. Dredging up the mother in law card when it was her that decided to tilt the Jack bottle back alittle too much and jump behind the wheel of a motorcar on public streets. Stand on those two ham hocks and take your lumps instead of some limp dick excuses. She aint getting my sympathy violin. This bitch ought to be playing a banjo, blowing notes into a moonshine jug. This is such a pathetic soul. Hope the cool mil doesnt last long, because I can not imagine a firm wanting to add that sour puss as an asset to its company.

It's been a year, but had to pile on a bit about the former GM. Hello, has anyone seen this submarine pop up lately for a breath of Camels and air. I have noticed the past year of postings on the Rage that few darts thrown towards new GM. When you look at the former GMs of BART, all landed immediate jobs....., but this Jack and Coke barmaid is exactly where she should be. Unemployed. Imagine a big crisis at the District and she hides behind LJ as the flacid, i mean face of bart. Please. Look forward to seeing her in the 7th Street soup kitchen line. Bet that cool mil she waltzed out with is going fast with the price of Jack and smokes going up. Biggest crisis in her life is that Jack cut the alcohol content from 90 proof to 80 proof..........Time to switch to old crow..........
