I like doing the Richmond / Fremont runs. The passengers seem nicer and more understanding when there is a problem. When I go to San Francisco, the passengers seem kinda like zombies. They are so into trying to ignore each other that they don't even listen to the announcements, then get mad at me because they missed where they were suppose to transfer. Still boggles my mind how many people get on trains...THEN decide how they are going to get where they are going!
The line from Richmond to Fremont is the worst one I've ever
travelled. The riders are thug-scary and the cars are the
filthiest of the lot. Makes the SF line from Walnut Creek seem
like Pullman service.
