Trains Stopping Suddenly & Violently Causing Passengers to Fall Over
Why do some trains stop so suddenly and violently causing passengers to fall over (even passengers holding on while standing)? This seems like another medical emergency waiting to happen. I was standing on a train for Pitts/Bay yesterday around 5:30 p.m. when the train stopped so suddenly and violently (numerous times) between WOAK and MAC that even passengers holding on while standing fell over.
I've been a BART rider for about 10 years commuting from the East Bay to S.F. I know I could use the recommended way to make a complaint via a complaint card from a station agent. However, I'm choosing this forum to gain a wider audience.

I'm not all sure the t/o has much to do w/this. It's been mentioned before that
the computer has more to do with the start/stop phenom than any human interference.
