The credit card associated with my card expired. I know I should have updated it earlier, but I just didn't need to do that since I wasn't even in CA at the time.
The website is being stupid and apparently you can't update this information over the phone. Awesome. Useless as usual.

I had the same issue, but the person on the phone talked me through how to update my credit card info.
1. Look to the left and click on "Check card value"
2. Click on link ‘Change Billing Information’
3. Follow the steps remaining.
4. Email clipper with pdf of your updated Credit Card, if it takes too long for them to respond that your card is Unlocked.
I wish the Clipper site would be as easy as using CHASE or Citibank's site, but maybe CLIPPER doesn't have to money to create a better website to navigate.
It's awkward, and confusing. In order to see how much money I have on my BART 45/48 Autoload, I have to view "Check Card Activity" to view my balance.

yeah, their site sucks. if u try to request your clipper history more than twice per day it rejects u. i had to call them and get them to manually send it to me for expense reporting.
