PART TIME TRAIN OPERATOR POSITION

I RECENTLY APPLIED FOR THE PT TRAIN OPERATOR THAT BART OPENED UP A MONTH AGO. I PASSED THE WRITTEN EXAM (WOO-HOO BIG SURPRISE) IT WAS SUPER EASY. ANYWHO, THE NEXT STEP IN THE PROCESS IS THE *SITUATIONAL AWARENESS EXAM* WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? WELL I KNOW ITS SELF EXPLANATORY BUT CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT TO EXPECT???

So for the three or four

So for the three or four posters that keep asking what's on the TO test: grow up. This isn't high school where you're spoon fed the standardized test scores so everyone wins. In the real world, sometimes the test is supposed to be A TEST to see what your skills are, not to see what you can parrot back from a book. If you're cut out to be an operator, it will work out. That's right, it's competitive and a lot of people won't get the job.

What do YOU think the test is about? Might want to at least look it up in the Wikipedia before you start yelling at the Internet. Then do a little research if you're still unclear, it's a concept that is easily applied across many fields. You don't need someone to spell out the test.

Of course I don't expect to

Of course I don't expect to get answers for the test. I scored high on the exam on my own. But thanks for your bitter input. Just a general question. My anxious mind couldn't wait. If you have nothing valuable to say you should've just bypassed this . Like I stated before the title of the test is pretty self explanatory.....just wanted to here it from someone whose been there done that. Already googled it obviously before I found this stupid website that people with nothing better else to do complain about nothing and leave negative remarks on people's post. But thanks again!

It's an arduous process. It's easier if you are unemployed, because every week you must show up on a different day & time for a test, exam, interview, etc. you can only give your current job so many excuses so you may be present at BART's request before u get fired; i have a doctor's appoinment, i got food poisoning, i got in a car accident, i have a flat tire. and then if you fail along the way it was all for naught. but i digress. good luck to you! keep us updated on your progress. look forward to it.

Lol luckily im a valued

Lol luckily im a valued employee where I work (for now anyways) I've used up sick pay and a floating holiday so far for this Bart thing so hopefully it's worth it! If not, owell. Atleast I took a chance. No "what ifs" in my future!
