Walnut Creek Parking - What is lastest time to actually get parking? :-o
I can't seem to ever find parking at BART Walnut Creek in the mornings. I just moved from Dublin to Danville and had no idea how hard BART WC parking would be compared to Dublin. Can someone tell me what the latest time is to get to the station and still get parking?
To take the 21 adds 30 minutes to my commute so i'd rather at least drive to the station. Yes, i even thought about riding my bike, but again it is a rather long cycle. I'd like to not have the 2+ hour commute that i have when i drive. :-/
Also, on a few days a week i need to drop my daughter at school in Danville at 8. Is there any options after that time? Private parking? anything?

You might try the Pleasant
You might try the Pleasant Hill station if WC is full when you get there. PHill has a HUGE parking garage. It's not that much further away

What time to you get to WC BART? I get off there around 7AM and the
lot is practically empty.
You could print out yourself
You could print out yourself a pair of "carpool" parking permits, drive in by yourself, and park in those "carpool only" spots. I usually observe a couple of people doing that over the course of the work week.
BTW - I actually do carpool with my wife everyday and use the permits according to the rules.
I actually told a person they could receive a hefty ticket for abusing the carpool parking. She was snotty and said "I just dropped of my passenger" - yah right!
