The 3000 TO applicants

I am wondering if any of the TO applicants that went to the agility test last month have been notified of their background check being completed and if they received a placement for an up coming class? Anyone denied? Just wondering, I don't want to bother Bart HR as they have done a wonderful job keeping us informed but its been around a month and I'm getting anxious.

I know someone who took the agility test in Hayward last month and started as a TO trainee last Monday Oct 15 (it wasn't me).

There are 12 trainees in the class.

Rumor has it there will be another class starting up in November or December. Possibly a third class in January or February.

If BART asks you to go to a physical at Kaiser in Oakland, that's a good sign.

My apologies; time flies! The situational awareness test was August 25.

So if you just had it recently, it takes them a little time to process everything.

If you get through and are hired, I hear it's wise to get into a study group in your class. There's a lot to learn and a bunch of qualification tests to become a TO.

I just got an email from BART

I just got an email from BART regarding the pool eligibility. I was number 72. Unless they form up 6 classes before April 2014....I expect to take the test again. Oh well, you never know....may get lucky. I wonder how many made the final pool list?

Don't know how many made the pool, but we heard there will be 100 hired from the 3000. So cross your fingers they do the hiring before the period expires. There are a lot of employees retiring and BART is expanding, so that's why BART is hiring so many.

Be sure keep your nose clean; we also heard many past candidates flunked their background check even after they passed the agility test; it's pretty detailed.
