THANKS FOR DUMPING US IN PLEASANT HILL LAST NIGHT FOR NO GOOD REASON

I can't believe BART Central did that to us because of police activity at Concord. BAD DECISION. It was freezing, freezing cold out there and the situation was almost resolved before you kicked us off the train. You had us holding at every other BART station all the way out there, the situation was COMPLETELY resolved within three minutes of BART Central doing that. You tout increased police officers during the holiday season, yet I have bearly seen any BPD on BART or on the platforms where BPD is needed just to manage these idiot drunks trying to Board departing trains and falling down.

Then today, disabled train causing another 30 minute delay because you let all your good techs go during the last contract in favor of morons reading binders for replacements.

I FEEL SO SORRY FOR BART EMPLOYEE HAVING TO WORK FOR SUCH KLAME MANAGEMENT WHO OBVIOUSLY IS NO LONGER CAPABLE OF RUNNING THIS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM. The train I was on coming in was falling apart and barely function as well.

WTF is wrong with BART MANAGEMENT, YOU F"N SUCK, you worthless bunch of skum.

I am sure that BART

I am sure that BART management did not tell them to stop the train in PH...sucks though and they are all overpaid fatcats

FatCats? Depends on the

FatCats? Depends on the department I guess.. Top rate (4+years) for Operators and Agents is 60k (less for newer people). And they haven't had a raise anywhere near cost of living in the last 2 contracts (8 Years) (actually they gave more than getting last time, which is weird.. What job do you "give back", people should always move forward).. Management on the other hand..

I can't imagine at my job saying give me $10 but I'll give you this $10 over here, what's the point?..

BART runs in strange ways.. I laugh at my friends..

$60k for pushing a button or

$60k for pushing a button or telling people what train to take sounds pretty good to me!

This happened to me in

This happened to me in Oakland @12th St station a few months ago. BART is always COMPLETELY blindsided by police actions
or medical emergencies and throws entire trainloads of passengers off at a given station w/out any regard for their safety or
destination; there is no "Plan B" and usually NO information regarding just what is going on or when the situation will be resolved.

I have come to regard the presence of BART police at a station as a sure sign of delay. Rest assured you will be told NOTHING
and presented with ZERO options; as a passenger you are nothing but a cash cow, a commodity to be exploited without consideration
or care. BART doesn't give a rats ass about you or your welfare so heads up and take care of yourself.

BART's biggest problem is

BART's biggest problem is that when a train is delayed, for any reason, there is no way around it. Most places in the system there is only two trax, one that way and one this way, and no option to divert a bad train or problem. It is a basic design flaw that all the bay area was ever gonna need was a big X on the bay and no need for a 3rd tunnel/tube track. The designers all said everyone will have a seat and we can have carpet and fabric seating, hell there wasn't weekend service in the beginning. If you look at a real transit system like NY or Chicago they all have many trax in all directions and express trains even. I think BART has done all it can with what it has, shorter headways, better door equipment, more mainline technicians, and even medical staff on duty during commute, all have much improved on time service. I know it can be frustrating when you are on a delayed train, but overall the trains are more reliable now than ever before. And like tooda-loo says, it is also because the operators/FW/system svc/shops/bps...and etc. that bust their asses each nite to make revenue in the morning. I swear, sometimes it takes baling wire and duct tape, but these 40 year old cars do pretty good. Sorry for your delays, and also for not getting info about it to you, remember, often we have no more info to tell you at the time...we are on a need to know basis as well.
