BUS BRIDGE TOMORROW FROM LAFAYETTE TO PLEASANT HILL -- HAVEN'T WE PASSENGER BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH?

http://www.bart.gov/news/articles/2013/news20131022.aspx

I realize it is the NTSB causing tomorrow's delay this time but they could't do their ivnestigation on a weekend without disrupting service to exhausted passengers so SOOOOOOOOOOON after the strike. After all, we all know the NTSB will find the same OSHA did when Mr. Strickland was hit. The bus bridges suck; they are really slow.

UNSAFE WORKING CONDITIONS
POOR COMMUNICATION
OVERGROWN VEGETATION

I want that guy who is in charge of rails to be the general manager. Hopefully this morning's Kaos will make somebody realize that BART Management's house is in bad need of cleaning, starting getting rid of Grace Crunican.

Loved the way how long it took BART Management to admit a trainee was driving the train.

The short answer is... no they can't wait. The NTSB investigates every major transportation accident in the US., and they need to get at the facts as soon as possible after the incident before memories fade more than they already have. It is not national news the same way the Asiana crash was, but the same investigative methods are being used. Think about how long that runway at SFO was closed, and that inconvenienced more people than a simple bus bridge will. This whole situation sucks and I am very interested to see the NTSB's report.
