M. DelgadoSo whos with me in thinking that "M. Delgado" should take a long walk off of a short pier? Im getting tired of his masquerading around as some knowledgable BART employee when it is obvious that he doesnt know a f*cking thing. my opinion: who cares, one way or another. this is an anonymous forum to bitch about bart. some of us will post inside information on occasion about certain events (delays, derails, etc), and any juicy management foibles.

You MUST be joking? Delgado isn't funny, He's an ego maniac who posts as M.Delgado and anonymous. He IS the 17yr old who is a BART groupie and comes off as quite charming at first. Then, one gets to know him a little better and realizes he is full of S***. He knows just enough about BART (and a lot of other things) to be a real pompous blow-hard. He is very intelligent, writes eloquently, knows a lot of BIG words, and more often than not, posts INCORRECT info. He's a good looking young man too. Got a great smile, pretty eyes and a decent hair cut. Doesn't wear those God awful baggy pants.
He speaks and writes with authority so one believes that he is knowledgeable about BART. He's quite skilled at taking a little bit of accurate info and spinning a good yarn with it. However, the more he speaks/writes, the more obvious it becomes that he hasn't a clue.
He's posted on this site, under anonymous, claiming to be a BART Police Officer, a Station Agent, a Train Operator and a long time BART rider.
What a terrible waste of talent and skill. He could be a great fiction author, maybe even science fiction. I really wish he would put his God given talent to good use. If only he wasn't so immature and starving for attention and recognition he would be a neat guy.
The poster who dubbed him a "sociopath" was right on the money. He does have a personality disorder and does have antisocial behavior. He alienates people he wants to be friends with.
He posts often on this site but it's more for fun AND to stir up people's emotion. He get's off and being trashed. After all, any attention is better than no attention.

You say he alienates the people he wants to be friends with. Do you believe, deep in your heart, he wants to be friends with you? I think, yet lack the evidence to back this up, that this is a game to him.

I feel that if it weren't for this freak "railroad" that is paying you worthless, lazy slobs MANY, and believe me when I say many, times what you are worth, you'd be just a regular person, probably working at Burger King or Target, considering most of you lack a college education. Since you also lack social skills and any desirable job qualities, I'd guess Wal-Mart is a more realistic option.
Yet for some reason, this organization which has budgeted way too much for your salary, has turned you station agents into an entire social class. I, for one, think that if someone has found a way to stir up your emotion, mess with your minds, AND have fun doing it, more power to them.

Besides, we've already determined it is one person (possibly two) who have a problem with me. See, that's the handy thing about posting anonomously. But we've figured it out - as evidenced in previous posts. Why set out on this war path with me? It's one you won't win. Trust me.

I noticed this delgado guy while I was a casual lurker to the site. Now that I post on occasion it is a little wierd that I can't nail him down. And he doesn't really respond to the particular topic in a concise manner. A little about the topic and then some wierd comment that puts folks off.
I also see that with just one comment by him it can just shut a conversation down. Or it turns into a flame fest.
He has given poor quality advise, or none at all. All under the guise of "I'm Mr BART".
But he really doesn't add anything.

I think that everybody
I think that everybody should just leave me alone. As a WWII veteran who has provided BART with over 85 years of trustworthy service, I deserve a certain quiet dignity. True, as a BART police officer, I may have made some questionable calls in my years of service, especially in the heat of the moment. However, does that mean that this train operator has to suffer the immaturity and lack of respect of others. Now, I may just be a single mom raising five kids in Richmond, but it seems to me that a lot of people on this post have nothing better to do than scrutinize the comments of one measly, 15 year old kid. I've never worked for BART, but I can say that it has to be one of the hardest jobs out there, and for the participants of this post to doubt that I'm a station agent is preposterous. You try keeping the scum out of the stations while simultaneously gaining an encyclopaedic knowledge of BART statistics, history, and lore. I'd like to see you balance that with taking care of two mentally disabled children found on the station doorstep while doling out punishing lightning bolts from the heavens.

hi all! well ive been on and
hi all! well ive been on and off occasionally, and ive noticed this -M Delgado character as well. not sure who she or he is but i dont mind them. i dont know why you guys over-react to her or his blog's, theyre not anywhere close as awful as you make it sound. jbap was right, this -Delgado individual dosnt add much but from what i saw dosnt take away much either. maybe they were right when its just one person posting so many crazy things against her or him. why not just allow her or him to contribute information, and if its helpful let it be and dont add some snide remark, and if its not helpful or incorrect dont throw it out there be professional and if you cant be kind at least be decent to them. i really do smell something fishy about this. my guess is with someone else that there may be only a few who have an issue with this character, whoever they might be. what does any of this have to do with bart? what would everyday riders think when they read this and see names being thrown back and forth, and this grossly unprofessional stuff? i dont think the riders would be pleased.
im a station agent and i have to disagree with whoever wrote that little blog about the kid being well known. i dont think ive ever heard of her or him, and ive been with bart for almost four years. i am also friends with some police officers, and they havent shared any info either. but then again i havent asked. all that i can say is that i am disappointed, IN ALL OF YOU. i havent studied -Delgado's posts to the letter but i can say that she or he has offered some advice that is incorrect, but then some that is quite accurate. you are making a mountain out of a molehill. did this individual come here trying to get attention? judging from what i can see i dont think so. i think this person (and -Delgado, correct me if this isnt so) came here with the good intentions of helping others and blogging about bart as we all did, offered some advice that might not have been accurate, and now your all picking on her or him.
ive seen it, station agents, operators, police, on this web blog giving off information that isnt just incorrect, its a downright lie. people, please, lets keep this what it was designed for: BART. i know im not the site admin or anyone in any position to force change on anyone, but c'mon! how much longer does this have to go before someone at BART intervenes? i think that if they did, a lot of jobs would be lost overnight. because keep in mind, that even while you're at home, you still represent bart. to the one blogger who is posting these nasty things about this child (who i assume to be this -Delgado character but i dont know and wont assume) you have identified yourself as a station agent in the post that probably sparked this controversy, in the thing about officer lori. youd better watch your ass...
