Cut the BS and Open the BathroomsWTF??? Can Bart please open the *&%$##$ bathrooms??? Stop using security as an excuse, that is bullshit!!! Where are your riders supposed to piss when you don't have any bathrooms open? Bart is taking the chicken shit way out to save the trouble of keeping the bathrooms clean and keeping out the riff raff. No wonder otherwise law abiding folks have to piss/shit/hurl on the station platform. |

ya there is nothing worse than having to hope you make it to your destination so you can use the restroom. Of course "Murphy's Law" is that they will have delays on your train which just makes it even more challenging making it. That is probably why the train smells like one big bathroom.

And FYI, majority of the bathrooms in the system are open. Not all, but a good majority.

Point is, I don't think bathrooms are a big deal in the bigger scheme of things. Like I said, most trips on BART are an hour or less. I'm sure you have an adult sized bladder that you can hold for that long.

I Wear A Catheter & Pee Bag but not because of any medical condition. There just aren't enough open bathrooms on the system anymore.....
Yea - it's a pain putting that thing on & off so I got used to keeping it on all day ..... Usually it doesn't fill all the way --- unless there's another damned "Medical Emergency" shutting the system down for hours ....
BTW: I'm a male and as a kind of quirky thing I accidentally discovered I get a mild kick out of rubbing the partially filled bag against unsuspecting women passengers ....

Nothing is a big deal in the bigger scheme of things. If you compare something with something bigger it will always not be as big a deal. That is why your argument is stupid and fails as a reason not to open the bathrooms.
I am healthy and have an adult-sized bladder in good working order. I guess only people like me ride Bart and no kids, seniors, people with bladder problems, people who may have had a few beers before responsibly taking Bart home ride the system. Again, this is a feeble excuse for not opening the bathrooms.
As for being a crackhead, this is the real reason Bart does not open the bathrooms--they are too lazy to police them.
As for being a terrorist, if you must know, the real reason I want Bart to reopen the bathrooms is so I have a nice private place to get a $5 hand job from your mom. Are you happy that you spotted my subterfuge now?
Lemme present this scenario
Lemme present this scenario to you. What if BART re-opened the bathrooms in let's say the downtown SF stations (Powell, Embarc, Mont). A terrorist comes in, plants a bomb or two in the bathrooms. They explode, 1/2 way destroying the station. Remember, those stations are directly below insanely busy Market street so you can imagine the damage upstairs.
You would be the first one questioning why the bathrooms were open, and calling BART stupid for having them open when the possibility of a terrorist attack was probable. When it comes to the safety and lives of thousands of innocent people, BART would rather err on the side of caution.
BTW, my mom charges 2.50 for every inch a man has when it comes to a hand job. You said she only charged you 5 bucks right?

Any terrorist who wanted to inflict maxiumum damage and injuries/deaths would rather detonate their explosives in a train car or open platform filled with people versus an enclosed bathroom void of masses .... Just look at all the people lugging airport style luggage and huge bags on those cars all the time! You have to believe BART or other authorities have some covert efforts in place to keep this threat in check - let's at least hope so!

You are assuming all terrorists will use bombs in subways. What about chemical attacks? Nerve gas? The nut jobs in Japan used the restrooms in the UNDERGROUND STATIONS to conceal themselves while they released the deadly poison into the ventilation system in the subway. Gee, wouldn't that be a wonderful site at Embarcadero during rush hour, or maybe Powell St station during the Thanksgiving shopping weekend???? I guess things have to be S P E L L E D out for you don't they? I'm with the Train Operator...hold it until you get home for crying out loud. Who wants to use a BART restroom anyway? Have you seen how filthy they are? An outhouse in a concentration camp is cleaner than most BART restrooms....and that's not the janitors fault! It's the fault of the PIGS who use it.

Regarding the trash, I agree with you. The stuff I see on the seats makes me wonder where, and how, some people were raised. I can only imagine what their homes look like! Have you seen the platforms at Embarcadero after the 4th of July or New Year's Eve? One would think with all the trash up on the streets of SF that there'd be little left to take down into the station. Here again we are dealing with a group of people who have no class, no consideration for others and no respect for themselves let alone anyone else or anything else. It can't be blamed on any specific race or age group. Trash is trash no matter what color or age.
